Lawana Resort

My stay at Lawana was very nice, coffee in the room, good wifi connection, chairs and massage available beachside. I didn't think much of the beachside restaurant. Their two for one deals are not really such because they just increased the price you pay for the first one. There are good restaurants close by on the street, so this wasn't too big of a problem. Massage on the beach was good value and the staff was really friendly.

we came there for our honeymoon, and took the standart room. very nice hotel, clean, good food, nice quiet beach. when we came back a few days later we took the room with the pool inside!!! totaly worth it!!!

Unfortunately our delux garden cottage was not very delux! Our main problem was the sliding glass entrance, there were huge gaps between the door & frame resulting in excess Mosquitos in the room & lots of bites( I know you are going to get Mosquitos but this could have been reduced, we used a net over our baby cot but there was no way of putting one over our bed). Also the lock on this door was a padlock which you had to transfer to the inside at night to lock yourselves in. Just didn't feel very secure! The mattress was the worst we have slept on in 2 months of travelling, you could feel ever spring! We were very disappointed with our stay here, have moved a few hotels down to World resort which have much nicer rooms at a much better rate!

Walls paper thin and a shooting range or something behind it somewhat dingy hotel but right on the beach although the beach is green. The pool is green too. Staff is nice enough.

Spacious, clean efficient staff and grounds kept very well.

Facilities: Basic; Value: Affordable; Service: Polite; Cleanliness: Tidy, Clean; Hotel restuarant has some good food. Great massage facililty by the pool and beach, and close to other restaurants from other resorts.

Airport delays forced me to miss my connecting flight and resulted in me getting to spend the night in the Bangkok airport. I contacted Lawana Resort to let them know I would not be making my reservation and they still charged me for the night I did not stay there!!! I cannot believe how unsympathetic they were to my situation! TERRIBLE. Their reasoning was that I booked my stay through a third party, hotels.com, so they could not refund me. I do not buy this excuse at all.

beautiful room in amazing resort right on the beach. It's a 5 min walk to Fisherman's Village. if I return to Koh Samui I'd stay here again.

Good value for your money. Good pool area, good massage and good restaurant. Not a five star hotel, but basic and clean bungalows at peaceful and well maintained green paradise :)

We booked a very basic room for 2 nights. As soon as we saw the rooms near the pool we upgraded- worth every cent. The location is very good- the beach is wonderfull and close enough to the fishermans village. We have a 4 yrs old and a 4 month baby and it was comfortable to go around. The pool is great as well as the restaurant/ Use the family mart 200m away to get your water, beers etc. because it can get expensive. overall it was the best place we stayed at samui and would recommend it.
