To all non-Malaysian residents that booking Family Escapade at The Magellan (Residence of Malaysia Only) rate will be subject to a penalty surcharge of RM 250.00 nett per room per night (stay period: now till 30 September 2024) and RM 255.00 nett per room per night (stay period: 1 October 2024 till 31 March 2025). Upon check-in, guests will be required to present their Malaysia Resident ID/PR to confirm their rate entitlement. Stay 3 Nights or More and Enjoy 2 Complimentary Rounds of Bowling Kid's Tent chargeable at RM80 nett per unit per night (subject to availability upon request). "Relaxing stay with a great view, but in an aging hotel."

The location of the hotel was perfect for what we were after. Outside of the main town and on the coast, it was very relaxing to sit on our balcony with a view of the ocean, and sunsets.

The hotel and facilities were quite dated and several things in our room didn't work. That said, the staff were very responsive to fix what they were able to, but are limited to what can feasibly be fixed.

Really beautiful sunset and plenty of good facilities.

Just the bathroom water flow is not really good. There is curb in the shower place and drainage for the water djscard in the bathing area itself, a bath will wet the whole bathroom floor.

Access to the pool and beach was highly maintained, the restaurant selection was great and the staff outstanding. Bed super comfortable and definitely recommend room with the balcony

Communication with the reception via the room phone was not reliable, we ended up having to actually go downstairs and speak to them directly

The Magellan Sutera Resort provided us with a magic 6 days of rest and relaxation. The total environment was amazing with great swimming pools and restaurants and many other facilities. We will long remember the meals sitting by the beach and watching yes another amazing sunset. Staff were great and we thank you all for a very memorable stay
