Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

Something bit me during my sleep. The deposit of incidental hold of 100 has not been refunded after 5 days. Im hoping they refund it

Hyatt house is my home away from home. The breakfast was great .

Cleanliness and comfort of the room, price for parking and friendliness of the staff.

The room was nicely laid out and well furnished. The breakfast was excellent with good choices and well-stocked and a nice dining area. Staff and service was great.

Their customer service agents weer Friendly , respectful and knowledgeable

Good for one night before cruise but ask for room that does not have a window facing I-95. We heard expressway noise all night. It is right there! Hotel was clean but showing it's age with the noisy in room air conditioner. Bed very comfortable though and room nice and roomy and clean. With my ear plugs in, I didn't hear the noise! The free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was nice.

Location was close to a great strip of restaurants and bars, walking distance. Rooms were excellent size and nice

Amenities were lacking, the bar was the same fest as check in. Breakfast was mediocre but enough places around that it didn't matter

As someone who works in hospitality and travels frequently, I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was extremely disappointing. Upon entering the room, there was a strong mold/mildew odor that immediately made the room feel unhealthy and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the smell became more noticeable throughout the night and I experienced chest discomfort, breathing irritation, headaches, nausea, and a very poor night’s sleep. What made the situation more frustrating was that I attempted to contact the front desk from the room during the evening, but received no answer. When I raised the concern at check-out, the front desk representative advised that renovations were scheduled to begin the following week and that the rooms would be addressed as part of the renovation project. While this suggested the issue was known, there was little concern shown regarding the impact the room conditions had on my health and overall stay. The location may be convenient for the airport, but the room condition significantly affected my experience. I hope management follows through with the planned renovations and addresses the air quality concerns so future guests do not have a similar experience.
