Magnuson Hotel Blythe

I reserved a 2 Double bed with sleeper sofa room for 3, we had to share 2 Q beds. They don’t have any couches or suites, as the name says.The rooms need a deep clean, . Check your fridge because the bottom shelf freezes things. The plumbing emits a high pitched squeal when flushing or requesting hot water. Any issues I had were resolved after being told I was “the only one to ever have that problem”. I’ve never had that response before. Breakfast was average, The lady cleaning the room couldn’t get the number of towels right or refill the TP. The homeless sit at the outdoor tables and leave garbage, that wasn’t cleaned in the 3 days we stayed The pool is not heated. If you are just there to sleep and lock your car you can make it through, but it’s not going to be a treasured memory. It was a low standard with a slightly higher price tag. The area offers a number of these but their prices are lower

The rooms have been nicely remodeled and were well designed. From the crown molding, laminate flooring in the bathroom, fresh paint, and cleanliness throughout, our room was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a mini fridge for beer and soda. Nice DirecTV channels on a flat screen as well. I would definitely go back when I return to the Blythe/Quartzite area and I recommend the establishment wholeheartedly.

Old and dirty. Very sketchy area. No decent restaurants in town.

the room was very clean and comfortable the location was quiet, not right on the freeway the pool and hot tub were clean nice outdoor places to sit for breakfast good breakfast was much nicer than it looked when we first pulled up-the signage and the view from street were not great

Everything was very good, except for the ice machine. It was :room-key_ activated and dispensed ONE ice cube.

Room clean, good breakfast, rundown neighborhood, indifferent staff, good highway access

This was the best hotel that I stayed at on my trip to PHX. It was a great place to stay.

Checked in abf staff was nice. First room had Silverfish all over the bed. Went back and asked for another room, again staff was nice. Second room was adequate. It was relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. Ice machine was by the pool. I did not try the breakfast. The area is semi-shady though. For $50/night you get what you pay for… two star drive in motel. All the four and five star reviews make this place out to be something it’s not. It’s simply a basic drive in motel, in a semi-shady area, that you may have to ask for multiple rooms to find a clean one to sleep in. At best if the stars are aligned this would get a three star review. Two stars is more like it.

Nice hotel, center location to our planned trip. (Dove hunting) there for two days room was never clean or trash emptied.

Large clean room with couch. Comfortable bed. Noisy cooling unit.
