It was 109• and they had the pool closed and air conditioner off in room. They’re breakfast started too late for early travelers. The room was just ok, but no cold water

We were just passing through Blythe and were happy not to be there any longer than necessary. The M Star was rundown but cheap. The free breakfast was good considering the price we paid. Loved the waffle machine! There was a pool but we didn't use it.

The condition and cleanliness of the accommodations were far beyond what I expected for the price. Very simple and friendly check in, all staff we contacted were extremely courteous and professional. One might expect to pay twice the rate we were charged, to find as clean and comfortable a room. I had noted In my first review some issues with the local area, but that did not affect our safety or comfort while staying at the motel. I would especially like to point out the service rendered to us by Anita At the front desk. She went well above and beyond our expectations, and cheerfully helped us out in an unrelated issue. Every hotel should have service, and personnel, of this level. For an economy motel, I highly recommend this one.
