Loved walking in the meadow of the property in the morning and loved the coziness of the hotel and their restaurant. The staff was outstanding!

Absolutely gorgeous setting. Great food both breakfast and dinner. A gracious staff.

Getting there! The road leading to the property made for a white knuckled drive through switchback turns on narrow roads without guardrails. The final stretch was on dirt roads poorly maintained. We were honestly asking ourselves what had we gotten into the first time we drove up the mountain thinking it had been a huge mistake but once we were there, it was worth the effort.

The site is beautiful. It is hard to get to, but the views are amazing. The breakfast was excellent. The pool areas very well tended and lovely. Now the bad: although the listing states they have air conditioning, they don’t. The room we stayed at ( an upgraded unit) was a sauna by the afternoon and the only relief was a noisy fan going all night moving hot air around the room. The beds are very uncomfortable as well; incredibly hard. And the condition of the room, although generally fine, needed some upkeep. If the room had air conditioning (as listed), all else could be overlooked. But as it was it was close to impossible to sleep comfortably.

No reading lamps in bedroom. Only “atmospheric “ lighting. Couldn't read. Terrible lamps by bed. Plus only one wall light for entire room. I like to read at night as i travel alone. Also, dont use booking .com map directions. Use google maps..

This place is an absolute dream! Best part of our stay in Italy. The views are stunning, the bed is comfortable, and the food is outstanding . Definitely worth the walk up to the second pool. It's magical
