Challenging and somewhat scary drive to the top of the mountain, but this location was a fine reward after the climb. Room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was super helpful and spoke many languages to include, English, Italian, German, and Sloven. Lake View was nice. Great place for clean alpine air and hiking. The bar on the first floor was welcoming and cheerful. The breakfast was extensive and suited many tastes.

Great place to stay for skiing in Nassfeld. Not direct on the slope, cca 350 m far away from the lift, but "ski in" for return. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Renovated spacious clean rooms with mountain view. Fantastic buffet with antipasti, main courses and desserts each day, lot of varriation for each dinner. Delicious. The staff speaks English,German, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian. Hotel dosn´t looks pretty from outside, looks dingy, but the interier was renovated and warm atmosphere replaced a first impression. Unfortunatlly there is insufficient capacity in ski room - boots heater. Very positive is sauna and wellness place. Generally very good quality corresponding to price. 3 stars hotel where kitchen and staff are atmosphere makers. Mind! Dogs are prohibited in winter in the hotel.

The family spent 5 days skiing at the very close (300m) ski resort of Nassfeld while at this hotel. The staff is pleasant, the food in the restaurant (served 11-8pm) is very fresh and delicious. It is a good value for a family ski holiday. The rooms were not luxurious, but adequate and the view of the surrounding mountains inspiring. There are improvements that could make this a much better hotel. The lobby could be updated and more user friendly - it was dark, and not inviting. The spa could use a little TLC, it was a bit depressing, and the hot tub was only luke warm. Finally, the breakfast which is included, should have some variation, it was the same all five days, and the hot foods were not very appetizing.

Hotellet låg 300 m från liften, promenaden till liften var inte alls så besvärande som man kan tro. God service från personalen. Tavernan i källaren har öppet hela natten för den törstige. När vi var där var det mest familjer och par som bodde på hotellet. Inga kompisgäng. Jag skulle rekommendera skidhyra i Nassfeld.

Cosy skihotel. Friendly and helpfull staff. Nice room with mountain view. Fantastic buffet di anti pasti, main courses and desserts. Delicious and with great variation. We'll certainly recommend this hotel for skiing holiday; or a couple of days in the summer!

Great place to stay for skiing in Nassfeld, Austria. Just about 350 meters from the first lift up in the morning, directly at the border between Italy and Austria. You can allmost ski home, so in the afternoon you just have to walk less than 100 meters to the hotel. You will certainly not go to bed hungry. The dinner as well as the breakfast is very good. Besides this the spa area is at great way to relax after a day of skiing. Very friendly and nice service. There is free Wi-Fi, but do not expect to be able to do much - it is very poor.

Very nice familiar atmosphere. We have only tried the restaurant. Typical Italian very nice service, great food, and great value for money up here in Nassfeld. I would say this is the best place to have a znner while you are up here testing your inner ski champion.

We returned to this hotel because last year we had such a wonderful time there - PLEASE see my previous review as most of the information remains the same, except that you can now enter for dinner between 6 - 7.15pm. However, this year the taverna below the hotel was pumping out music so loudly that the majority of nights you could hear the lyrics of the songs and we were on the third floor - FOUR floors above the taverna!!! This went on until about 3.30am 5 out of 7 nights that we were there and obviously that is NOT what you want on a snow holiday. We complained several times (as did other guests) but nothing was done - the staff and the owners seemed to shrug it off claiming they could do nothing about it. A real shame and we'll not be returning there.
