Nice quiet hotel tucked away in the countryside of Guernsey. Not the easiest place to find initially but that is more down to the fact that the hire car GPS was useless in Guernsey. Check was easy and room size given was excellent with a large shower and was at the rear of the hotel. The view was more of the roof but you could also see some of the gardens and countryside. Plenty of places to sit around the heated pool and gardens plus the restaurant facilities were very good.

There was nothing the staff couldn't do for you, from the front desk, bar, cleaning and serving . They would bend over backwards if that was required. The ambience is laid back but with total efficiency. Full credit to Andrew the Operations Manager who is the calm captain of the ship. Well done to the staff.
3 out of our 5 nights were marred due to extremely loud music and drunken revellers on one of the nights weddings. Unfortunately, we were not informed of 1 prom and 2 weddings on 3 consecutive nights, until the day before our arrival! Our room was just above the function room (which was a superior room) and the noise was horrendous. Had we been informed at the time of booking, we would have chosen another hotel. If it hadn’t had these functions, the hotel would be superb. Check prior to booking!
First trip to Gurensey. Wow what a hotel. Could not fault anything. Perfect room with the customer always in mind. Great staff on reception and the food was great. Very comfy bed with every comfort really thought out. I have to be youngest and say this is probably the best hotel I have stayed in for business. If you are thinking of booking make sure you do you will not be disappointed.
Really nice ‘Chill out’ Country Hotel
We had a very relaxing time at the hotel, we enjoyed our holiday in Guernsey.
My only comment is that I asked for no butter on my toast as I am dairy intolerant and the chef disregarded this and did so anyway. I didn't realise until half way through as had assumed it was a non dairy spread. I then had to suffer in upset stomach and nausea for 5 hrs whilst in business meetings which was pretty distressing! Thank god I wasn't allergic to peanuts or Id have gone into anaphylactic shock! Just putting 2a bit on" isn't good enough if you request non.
