The Farmhouse

We stayed over the Christmas period and although there were few guests staying over this period (in fact we were the only room for one night) the hotel staff couldn`t have been more helpful. They were all really friendly and attentive all all times throughout our stay. We had Christmas lunch were they catered for around 110 guests and the food & service was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely every morning with a wide choice cooked to order. Room was clean, comfortable and had a great shower / wet room. Set in some lovely gardens with a nice pool for use in the summer. All the amenities of a 4 star hotel with a B&B feel (It felt like each one of the staff would go out of their way to assist with anything you required.

A pleasant stay in the hotel where all the staff were friendly. We ate there every night which was good quality and breakfast was just as good. We would stay there again.

The hotel was amazing, the service was excellent and the only hotel I have been in where they cooked me food without dairy due to my lactose intolerant, well recommended.

Stayed booked two double rooms.. From myself and daughter & Grand daughter. Positive.. Food excellent, staff very helpful. The small drink of port excellent idea, never come across this before, have stayed in many hotels around the world. The step into and out of the bathroom is dangerous shred this with your manager. TV could not retain selection to a channel. A small map of the area would be helpful showing main areas of interest. Will recommend"The Farmhouse " to my friends. Thank you.. Regards Barry & Nadira

Lovely staff, helpful in the extreme, conveniently on a bus route to most visitor attractions. Fabulous breakfasts and very attentive but discreet staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a lovely stay. We will be back.

Our room was hot and next to kitchen fans. We told the hotel about the noise on 1st day. There was air conditioning but it was the noise which was annoying. They rectified the issue by moving us several times throughout our 7 day stay. This was a compromise for us and we couldn’t fully unpack our clothes because of the moves. The decor was lovely and the shower was brilliant. There was an infestation of ants which they sorted without too much fuss and their room biscuits were lovely. However, these were missed on a couple of days. Another chair in the room would have been more comfortable but space was limited. Meals were inconsistent in that sometimes they were really good and other times not so. Room 6 towel rail temp needs turning down....too hot. I burnt myself on it.

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel this week and cannot praise the staff enough. The food was absolutely beautiful and would definitely recommend to anyone in Guernsey. The only possible downside is that each day visitors presumably from the sister hotel descended and there would be very little space around the pool and certainly no room in it!

Close to the airport and central for trips round the Island

Hotel staff are fanstatic, really friendly and helpful. Great choice at breakfast which was cooked well and always well presented. Room was lovely and kept clean to a high standard. All in all a very enjoyable stay ☺, would recommend and be happy to return again
