John and Jane were exceptional hosts nothing was too much trouble. The welcome we received was second to none. The property itself was stunning. room was spacious and well equipped spotlessly clean. The breakfast was all freshly cooked and amazing quality. We will definitely be staying here again

Breakfast was served at our table and was excellent. There was plenty of choices available, including fruit juice, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. The cooked breakfast was done perfectly and it was obviously made with quality produce. On arrival, we were warmly greeted and served a lovely home-made cake and a pot of tea. A lovely welcome after our drive down.

The only one thing we would change next visit is to have a room that wasn't on the very top floor. The room itself was lovely, however, due to the roofline, the bathroom had slightly reduced headroom and felt slightly cramped. We coped ok as we're both not that tall, but a taller person may struggle.

An amazing find, close to the harbour, parking, beautiful decor, fabulous breakfast, lovely owners.

This is a quality place to stay. A warm welcome and coffee in the lounge bar, our room had every detail covered. The decor, soft furnishings and everything about the Haytor Hotel had been carefully and thoughtfully presented. I had a great night's sleep in a ridiculously comfy huge bed with wonderful matress topper. Breakfast specially cooked and beautifully presented., and at a nice relaxed pace so we could take time to enjoy our surroundings. The only negative being we'd booked for one night to see a show. I wish we'd been able to linger longer! Thank you John and Jane. I hope we'll be back for another concert soon.

Breakfast was of excellent quality with lots of choice. Welcome was warm, everything was neat, tidy, clean and in good order.

We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
