The Haytor Hotel is immaculate and we had a very warm welcome from the owners John and Jane. The choice of breakfast was excellent and very promptly served. We had a very nice couple of days so if heading to the Torbay area we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you J & J!

"Unbelievable Torquay Stay"

Great location, beautiful period property and the warmest hosts. From minute one, we were made to feel welcome with John and Jane. No request was too much trouble and we felt at home straight away. John checked on our dietary issues as we arrived and ensured they had things e.g oat milk and vegan sausages for our 10/10 breakfast the next day. Lots of local knowledge and very helpful with recommendations. We loved our stay here and would recommend anyone visiting Torquay stay here! We hope to see you again, Joe, Charlotte and the Bump

A really lovely warm welcome to this beautiful hotel which is set in a lovely residential street in the heart of Torquay with its great choice of restaurants. After checking in and having a chat with the owner, which felt like catching up with an old friend, I was helped with my bags to my room which was lovely and clean with everything I needed for my stay. Another warm welcome to breakfast from her husband who was very attentive to everyone seated and arriving. I was offered a fantastic choice of continental and cooked options. I opted for the full English which was delicious and I would recommend.

Great hosts! Very friendly and provided terrific advice on activities, sight-seeing and restaurants. Hotel was clean, bright with great decor and nice furnishings. Food was great. Terrific choice in Torquay - we'll be back.
