Hotel Europejski

During our 3 day stay in a *suite* both the tap and shower were broken and we had only freezing cold water. We reported it, but the hotel only sent a security guard (?!), who verified that the water was fine. It wasn't. In the end we asked a receptionist to give us access to another room, with working water, so we could take a shower, and she agreed. The hotel seems to have a serious plumbing problem. Few times a day there was a bad sewage smell on the corridor. Badly cleaned plates in the restaurant where we had breakfast were the final straw. Some stuff members were trying to be helpful, others not so much. For instance, we tried to get a second keycard for our room (as we were two). The first receptionist refused. We had to try again later and eventually got the card.

Close to main train station. Friendly and competent staff. Building neglected and poorly maintained.

enjoyed the hotel and the location. Just a couple of small complaints--our wakeup call was 20 minutes late and could have been problematic for our flight but we made it in time. We also could not get our boarding passes printed at the hotel. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Quick and profesional check-in. Elevator was out of order, dirty stairs, corridors and the bathroom. good wi-fi network. Do not waste your money at this place.

I stayed only one night. Great location near train and bus stations. Room was comfortable and very clean.

This hotel is OK. It has good points and bad points (see below). It is priced well so I would stay there again. The rooms are really big, the location is great as it is close to the train station and also near the bus stop for the airport bus. Walk into the tourist centre is about 15 minutes and very easy. Pros: Location, room size, price, aircon in the room that worked better than in most expensive hotels. Cons: They used single sheets and single duvets on a double bed. The décor is quite dated. A little bit noisy from the trams and the pedestrian crossings. The cot they provided for our baby was falling apart. It seems an effort for staff to do something for you (like fetching a high chair for your baby).

Stayed 4 nights,very impressed with staff on reception,spoke English and went out of their way to give us the information we needed when asked for. Kettle and hair dryer in room,but would advise taking your own cups as the ones supplied were only cardboard. we were given a room at the back,not very scenic,but so lovely and quiet at night!!Great location for transport for the city
