Skvost mezi hotely,služby, prostředí, welnesko, bazén, prostě puup nemá zatím u mě v ČR konkurenci nemá, sice jsem nebyl v thermalu ale pro mě I dcerku je puup v hotelech na 1 miste přístup personálu jako u prezidenta republiky k hostum všem děkuji recepci,cisnikum, kucharum, no prostě jsem jednicky nooooo hihihi děkuji z celého srdce za nádherný zážitek sice mám malý plat ale booking mi umoznil cenu na noc I s dcerkou v tomto hotelu za 3400kc se snídani a to neslo odolat této nabidce, sice to bylo z ne na po ,ale dostal jsem v práci dovolenou na tento zážitek takže všechno jde doporucuji celému cesku děkuji s pozdravem pavel sabo z Litoměřic

Visited from Japan in June 2026. Ever since I watched the film The Grand Budapest Hotel many years ago, this had been a hotel I had always wanted to stay at. The building is truly magnificent, and you can really feel its history of more than 100 years. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, so it never felt cramped. As for the amenities, the basic items were provided, but they were quite standard. I would not say they felt particularly luxurious. That said, I did appreciate the attention to detail, such as the Pupp logo and marks being used even on various in-room items. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices, and it was delicious. I also appreciated that breakfast is served until 11:00. As for the spa, it has a swimming pool, several warm pools, and a sauna. It is certainly impressive, but not extremely large. However, the facilities are new, clean, and well maintained. The hotel itself is very clean and properly cared for. In that respect, I have to say it fully lives up to its reputation. The service and staff were perfectly fine. I never had any unpleasant experience, but I also would not say that I received truly outstanding service. Pupp Café serves good food and has a beautiful interior, although the atmosphere felt slightly busy and restless. I imagine this is because it is a very popular and busy place. From the staff and from the many signs and displays throughout the hotel, it was clear that this hotel has a long history, and that the people working there take pride in that history. As I was in the middle of a long trip, I did not have many formal clothes with me and felt a little underdressed at times. If you stay here, I would recommend bringing at least one smart outfit, so that you can enjoy the restaurant and café without feeling self-conscious. One thing to note is that the riverside rooms and the other rooms seem to have separate reception areas and breakfast venues. I was a little confused about this at check-in, so it may be worth keeping in mind. Personally, one thing I really appreciate is that such a historic and prestigious hotel has not been acquired by an international chain such as Hilton or Marriott, and is still owned and operated by Czech capital. In this and in many other details, I felt that the hotel is making a real effort to preserve the spirit and legacy of its founding family. Access: Although there is a city bus stop right in front of the hotel, the hotel is located at the far end of Karlovy Vary, so it is quite far from the KV railway station. If you have luggage, taking a taxi is probably the most practical option. The colonnades are about a 5–10 minute walk away. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel. However, even the most affordable rooms cost more than 4,000 CZK per night, and I am not entirely sure whether the facilities, amenities, and service fully match that price or exceed expectations. For that reason, I feel that the price is not only for the stay itself, but also reflects respect for the hotel’s history and for its efforts to preserve that history. That said, I would definitely like to stay here again. Next time, I would choose the riverside side.

Ein geschichtsträchtiges Hotel, mit super Service, dieses Mal hatten wir ein Zimmer an der Riverside, was trotz der vielen Touristen sehr ruhig war.

Die Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen ist weiterhin begrenzt, und kam erstmal der Türgriff im Zimmer entgegen.
