Hotel Bouregreg

En arrivant à l'hotel Bouregreg, le personnels d’accueil m'informe que je n'ai aucun réservation dans ledit hôtel et refuse de me donné une chambre car l'hôtel est plein. Après une longue discussion, le personnel a toujours refusé. A ce moment là, j'ai décidé d'alerté les polices. Je me suis déplacé dans un poste de police et je voulais déposé plainte, les policiers ont décidé de m'accompagné à l'hôtel pour voir d'ou viens le problème. A ce moment le personnel à changer de discours et m'ont proposer un autre hôtel. Je me suis déplacer encore une fois au nouveau hôtel, j'ai remarqué que ce n'est pas de la même qualité, ni le nombre d'étoiles. L'hôtel bouregreg est 3 étoile , le nouveau hôtel est de 0 étoile. Je suis en déplacement professionnel, j'ai passé une soirée horrible. En plus de ça, le prix du nouveau hôtel est nettement inférieur à l'hôtel bouregreg. En rajoutant à cela, le temps conséquent que j'ai perdu, la fatigue, l'énervement et une mauvaise qualité du nouveau hôtel.

Breakfast is below of normal standard. Needsto be improved to be good value for money.

The room was fairly basic but clean. The breakfast was a buffet with nice variety and prompt, attentive service.

I arrived in the evening, and the receptionist would not accept my App booking (from hotels.com). She then told me 'as a favour' she would let me into my room but I'd need to go out and print my reservation. It was 8pm on a Monday, and I was only in Rabat one night, so I asked her the following. Can't I just show you the reservation email? (no), do you have an email address i can send this to for you to print at your earliest? (no), Do you understand i'm here for only one evening and I don't want to spend the evening looking for a printer? (looks blankly at me), Do you know where there is a printer near here? (no). I then asked to speak with a manager, and she proceeded to start speaking to my Fiancee in arabic and ignoring me thinking somehow this was the correct way to deal with this - and putting my (moroccan) financee in a tricky situation. It ended up where I had to message hotels.com multiple times (after spending an hour unsuccessfully looking for a printer), and they were able to do exactly what the receptionist should have done in the first place - Contacted the manager, got their email, sent a copy of the booking, and got everything resolved. - I've come to morocco for over a decade - this is not cultural differences or language issues, this was someone who thought she could speak down to a guest and wasn't prepared to be told she was incorrect. I will never stay here again and given the abundance of hard working bi-lingual moroccans, I hope she is replaced
