Asterias Village Resort

Overall, I’m happy we stayed here. The location was ideal-so many tavernas on the doorstep & an easy walk into town. Our room had everything we needed & a beautiful view. A few tiny niggles-the receptionist telling us off for carrying our suitcases down 60 steps as he’d have to help us get them back up (no idea we could leave them at the top), the no inflatables in the pool rule bothered me. Is it a proper holiday without a lilo? And the pool man told my children off for jumping in (despite ignoring other older people doing it). I’d probably look for a slightly friendlier vibe but would love to go back to this area again.

We added half board to our stay and were pleasantly surprised with the selection at breakfast. We were also pleased that the hotel allowed us to switch evening meals to lunch time at poolside bar. This allowed us to discover all the wonderful tavernas surrounding the villages. The staff were brilliant. Hard working and all very polite. The areas were kept spotless and our room was very clean too. Our only observation was the room we had is ready for an upgrade. On our last day we paid extra to keep the room on as we had a late flight. They needed the room we’d been using so offered us a superior room for the rest of the day- this room was definitely an upgrade. I hope they continue to upgrade all rooms. The location of the hotel was perfect. 20 min walk to Hersonissos port area and 20 min walk to old Hersonissos.

Pool feels slightly small when hotel is busy. Despite inflatables clearly banned, we did see several children with really big inflatables that took up lots of room.

ברז באמבטיה חצי סתום כלים במטבח היו מלאים באבק יש המון מדרגות לא מתאים לכל אחד... צריך לקחת בחשבון לעלות ולרדת לא מעט לבריכה , חדר ובחזרה...

המלון עצמו מאוד יפה ודי קטן. הוא ממוקם על ההר די רחוק מהחוף, בהתחלה חשבנו שזה "שום מקום" אבל אז הבנו שזה בעצם כפר קטן בפני עצמו, שהפך למאוד תיירותי, אבל עדיין יש בו סמטאות חיניניות לטייל מהם אם יש כוח להתמודד עם העליות החדות. היה נחמד מאוד!

“Asterias Village is a very nice hotel with an overall great structure – everything is well maintained and the facilities are excellent. The breakfast and dinner options were really good, with plenty of variety and quality food. The bed could be a bit more comfortable, but that’s a small detail compared to the overall experience. As it’s a larger resort, there’s the common issue of guests reserving sunbeds early in the morning with towels, sometimes keeping them blocked for the whole day. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons séjourné pour notre dernière nuit en Crète dans cet hôtel. L’extérieur (zone de piscine et restaurant étaient bien entretenus)

La chambre familiale était très décevante. Les équipements sont vétustes et attention aux photos 3D qui peuvent être trompeuses. Très mal insonorisé et matelas trop mou. Pas au niveau d’un 4 étoiles

Decided to treat myself and my numerous niggles to a full massage with Micheal. Micheal listened to my various aches and pains and promised he’d make a difference. I’ve had bad back pain that wakes me up in the night, for the last 8 weeks I have to take tablets to go back to sleep. My feet hurt from plantar faciatus from long hours on my feet at work. Micheal asked me to leave a review if I was happy I joked back I will if I sleep through!! Well Micheal here is your review Micheal is a true master of his trade, an absolute gentleman who I will never be able to thank enough. Last night I slept through pain free and for the first time in 8 weeks no pain tablets. My back feels amazing, my feet feel like I have individual toes again. I really cant thank Micheal anymore than to say I just came for a holiday and going home fully restored. Worth every € to be pain free and to have decent sleep. He is a true asset to this hotel and should be considered for a more professional spa room as you do feel a bit on view next to the main stairs. This is my first day of no pain tablets and it is such a joy to be pain free. Thank you so much.

Gary Evans 5/5 2 days ago on Google Third time we have stayed here and it's been great every time. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Michael who provides the massages is so good and me and my wife both booked multiple massages we were so relaxed and pleased with the service.

Returned to Asterias after a great holiday last year. Even better this year with the addition of the Spa. Michael is amazing, lovely person and fabulous treatment.
