Buffet food was a bit bland

Close to the slopes. Staff was helpful. We had a late check in and they provided us a food pack.

It is very old and needs refurbishment. Food was below avarage.

Spa work till 19.00

The location is nice and very convenient, especially for accessing the slopes and the center of Borovets. I also appreciated that they allowed me to check in earlier since the room was already available. Overall, these were the only aspects that stood out positively during the stay.

Extremely disappointed. The last time I stayed here was in 2008, and now in 2026 it feels like absolutely nothing has changed—no renovation, barely any visible maintenance. The overall condition was poor. The room was dirty, with noticeable stains on the bathroom curtains, cuts on the bed sheets, and even basic amenities were lacking (only a quarter roll of toilet paper provided). For a hotel that claims 4 stars, this level of hygiene and upkeep is simply unacceptable. Breakfast was mediocre at best—limited choice and low quality, not what you would expect from a hotel in this category. The most frustrating part was the parking situation. They charged me for parking, explaining that there are two parking areas—one for hotel guests and another in front of the hotel for external visitors. This was not communicated anywhere during booking or check-in, which felt misleading. Overall, this hotel seems to rely entirely on its past reputation rather than current standards. Unfortunately, it does not deliver on the expectations of a 4-star stay today.

The hotel has a classic style, but it is clean and practical. The location is excellent, with a gondola passing right by. Breakfast is good, and the spa is decent. The pool is very large.

The furniture is outdated and could use an upgrade.
