Hotel Matina

The hotel is ideally located just 5 minutes from the sea, which makes it very convenient to enjoy the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and delicious, a perfect way to start the day. The pool is pleasant and well maintained, a real plus to relax. Finally, the staff were extremely kind and always available, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Elias davvero eccezionale: gentilissimo, simpatico, sempre disponibile e pronto ad aiutare in qualsiasi momento. La sua accoglienza e calma ha reso il soggiorno speciale. La struttura era molto pulita e con una piscina bellissima dove rilassarsi. Inoltre, la posizione è perfetta, in una zona tranquilla e vicinissima al mare.

Kahvaltı mükemmel çeşitler boldu. Her sabah farklı bir sıcak çıktı. Çalışanlar hep güler yüzlü ve yardımcıydı. Tesisin sahibi ve otel müdürü mükemmel insanlardı. Temizlik çok çok iyiydi, hem odamız hem de tesis içindeki tüm alanlar her zaman tertemiz, pırıl pırıl ve düzenliydi. Sahile ve denize yürüme mesafesinde, marketler ve restaurantlar bolca var. Santorini’de denize rahatlıkla gidilebilecek alanlar kısıtlı, bu nedenle otelin konumu gerçekten çok rahat bir konumda. Evimizde gibi hissettik, öyle çok rahat ettik ki. Santorini’de konaklama için tek adres Hotel Matina’dır :)

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful property. Excellent location, so close to the beach and near a lot of restaurants/shoppes. Beach nearby is perfect. Pool was great. Continental breakfast was excellent. Would def stay here again!

This was our seventh visit to Santorini and the fifth hotel we have stayed at, can honestly say this hotel is the best so far. The hotel, pool area and the rooms are kept spotlessly clean, the staff are so friendly and the management are amazing, will do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The bed in our room was so comfortable, would love to have brought it home with us! Breakfast was always very good, great choices. There is a nice snack menu for lunchtimes, you must try the chicken club sandwich!! Location is perfect just a short walk to the beach front. Can not fault this hotel whatsoever, we will return! This was my first visit to Santorini with two friends who had visited before. They spoke very highly of Hotel Matina and how friendly the owner and staff were.... I was not disappointed! The warmth and welcome by Vasso the owner, her manager Elias and Ender was exceptional. Vasso's quiet presence, passion and knowledge of the island was so valuable making it easy to explore the rich culture, history and charm of the island. Elias's charisma made you feel very welcomed and treated all his guests the same, nothing was too much bother for him or Ender. The hotel and grounds were immaculately clean with flowers here and there and sleeping cats relaxing on settees giving it a very homely and a relaxing atmosphere. A fresh and healthy breakfast each morning that you could eat under the pergola overlooking the swimming pool...so relaxing! I will certainly return.
