Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel

Our first visit to South America was filled with much anxiety, but the helpful staff at this hotel really helped. It also helped that the location was close to some nice restaurants and a subway stop. The room was small, the breakfast OK but not great, but the staff and the location made it a great deal for us.

Located in a nice, quiet and safe area with an easy walk to the Manuel Montt subway station. This hotel is nestled around the corner from busy Avenue Providencia of Santiago close to countless restaurants and stores. My room was adequately sized, very comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were always friendly, helpful and kind during my entire two-week stay there. Staff at the front desk effortlessly helped with subway directions, sightseeing ideas and made my reservations for airport transfers. Every day a housekeeper cleaned my room and left a set fresh of towels in my bathroom, which was very much appreciated. Each morning a complimentary healthy breakfast was offered with a nice variety of fresh sliced fruit, cheese, yogurt, juices and other items. Staff did everything possible to make sure that my entire stay was enjoyable and pleasant. Front Desk staff were so amazing, always friendly and helpful, which ensured my entire stay was exceptional. I was very happy with my accommodations at the Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel.

The property was in a quiet side street with easy access to local restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful - they let us park our hire car on site for no charge.

While traveling through Chile, we stayed at this very nice hotel when in Santiago. The hotel is small, with a cool low-key vibe, and is a great location for a visitor first exploring Santiago--from being a pleasant walking distance of numerous eating options to having the metro, taxis or buses nearby to jump on to get to some of the notable sites of the city.

We stayed here 3 separate times during our 2 weeks in Chile. The location is in a very nice neighborhood close to the national park. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a subway stop. The staff was very friendly and aimed to please. The rooms were small but comfortable. The breakfast was good and included house made waffles or crepes (pancakes).

Our first night in Chile and only night in Santiago, we were made very welcome on arrival and were helped with luggage to our room. After little sleep on our overnight flight from the UK, sleeping at night wasn't a problem - but it was also quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast included vegan options and a freshly cooked crepe which was pleasant enough. For our short time in Santiago, we found the hotel to be in an excellent location within easy walk of places to eat, currency exchange and also the cable car up San Cristobal Hill and the wonderful Parque De Las Esculturas (sculpture park).

Room clean staff very friendly and capable. Manager/ owner made you feel very welcome. No problems recommending. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Good location for metro and centre. Room was quiet no problems sleeping.

I stayed for 4 nights in February 2019 during a solo trip around the region. Out of all the hotels I stayed at, Meridiano Sur Petit was my favourite - what a great find! Carolina and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and helpful, making me feel comfortable and safe as a solo female traveller on my first trip to South America. The room was clean and comfortable, with lovely personal touches to the decor. Good WiFi too. Breakfast was in a nice lounge with an outdoor patio, with a good selection of pastries, fruit etc. The location is ideal - a quiet street in a nice neighbourhood 10 minutes from the metro, with many shops and restaurants close by. If I return to Santiago in the future I’ll definitely stay again - lovely hotel!
