Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel

This 9 bed roomed hotel offers very friendly and comfortable accommodation. Although the rooms are small this is totally offset by the lounge areas and outside patio space. Within walking distance of several good restaurants - beware the LARGE food portions. Overall an excellent little hotel in an ideal location.

This hotel was in a quiet street. It was summer so hot, but there was no aircon, only opening windows which was quite nice, but no screens so the mosquitoes could be a problem for some people. The rooms are quite small, and if you travel with a lot of luggage, it could be awkward. Although the staff were helpful, the biggest problem for us was the highly polished floorboards and also polished wooden stairs. There is no lift, so if you find stairs an issue, this isn't the place for you. Despite the staff carrying the bags up, you still had to go up and down without rails and we found it to be very slippery. The breakfast is also down narrow stairs to a pretty courtyard. Fruits and some bread plus one finger pancake was breakfast. You only receive a small bottle of water the first night after that, buy your water and supplies at the convenience store about 5 minutes walk back to the main road, as no other meals are available. The staff did lend me an adaptor -three holes for Chile, the room did have two luggage stands but failed a wake-up call so there was a mad scramble on departure instead of waiting in reception with coffee and pastries for the bus.

Meridiano Sur hotel is well situated close to several good restaurants, shopping areas and within a 35 minute walk from the Santiago City centre. Very attentive and helpful staff, who were only to happy to advise on places to go and the best way to get around. The breakfast could be described as the highlight of the day ! I would definitely stay there again. Trouble free WiFi.

Lovely staff, spoke English well and did extra to accommodate. The location is perfect, close to the Metro and around many great restaurants.

The room was clean. Nice design throughout. I think it was previously a house converted into a hotel. The WiFi worked well throughout. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was ok, the usual toast, cereal, juice, coffee, yogurt. The made us crepes too. The coffee was actually on, it was better than the other stuff we’ve had in Chile. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The location was close to the metro, restaurants, and the north end of Cerro San cristobal. There was a dusty smell on the first floor but not up in the rooms.

The location was ideal for walking to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was so comfortable, we felt like we were staying with family or good friends. The staff were really helpful and patient and they all speak great English. We really appreciated the vegan options at breakfast even though we were unable to fully enjoy the breakfasts due to our early morning tour and departure. They have an honor snack system that made it really convenient for us to get all the bottled water we needed and there are a few restaurant options right across the street from the hotel. Public transportation is within walking distance otherwise the hotel staff are happy to arrange a taxi for you. We were very pleased with our choice to stay at Meridiano Sur Petit.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean property. Felt safe.

The hotel was hotel, good stuff and spoke English, but one thing I didn't like was the room in basement and way too small. I should have next time to book a room not in basement and too small in size.

Perfect in every sense. The price, location, staff and ambience are all perfect.
