Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel

Frank was especially helpful , speaking English so well and going the extra mile to help book tours and taxis. But all the staff, reception and kitchen/serving were a delight. Good situation close to excellent metro , shops, and cafes. Good breakfasts and I especially enjoyed sitting in the little courtyard garden of an evening. Would love to stay there again. Only slight downside, construction work going on next door but don't let that put you off.

Helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, pleasant walkable neoghborhood and location. Reasonable rates, easy access to local restaurants, parks, and the metro. Our last stop before returning to the States after a South American cruise!

Very warm welcome from staff. Kept bags for us as we were too early to check in. An hour later, bags had been taken to our room for us, still before official check-in time. Room was small, as we expected, but the bed was big and comfortable. There were wardrobes and bed side tables. There was an old TV, but we didn't try it as we were too busy! No in-room hospitality tray, but hot water and tea/coffee available downstairs in breakfast area. As well as the breakfast area, there is a 'resident's lounge' on the reception level that had a modern flat screen TV and books for loan. There were comfy chairs here and tourist info leaflets. The staff at reception are happy to book tours for you, they also booked a restaurant for us. We didn't have the included breakfast as we left too early each day on our tours, so can't comment on that! We did take packed lunches and they were fine. We found some great restaurants within a short walk. There is plenty of choice for all budgets in this area.

The hotel staff was amazing in there help when our passports were stolen on the subway. Most Chileans do not speak English so the hotel staff went out of their way to help us replace them in coordinating with Chilean officials and contacting the American embassy. Can't say enough about their kindness and support. BTW the room, neighborhood, and breakfast were wonderful.

Our family of four was warmly welcomed and enjoyed our two night stay in this charming hotel.

Perfect location. Small hotel with small rooms. The size of the rooms is similar to hotels in other large cities. In NYC, we had to stand on the bed to open the bathroom door. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yogurt, meat, cheese, breads, cereals, pancakes, etc. Only 9 rooms, no elevator. No rooms on entry level. One room on lower level with other rooms on upper 2 levels. Safe neighborhood with very good restaurants nearby...especially Liguria.

The hotel is very nicely located within walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, shopping and the Metro. The staff was incredibly helpful on many things including arranging tours and providing snacks and coffee when we had an early departure prior to breakfast being served. The room was European in size (not large) yet had a decent sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the air worked well.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were extremely helpful (thank you Valeria & Juan!). Excellent English speaking staff which made it much easier for us. The district here is very safe & lovely local restaurants only a few mins walk. The seafood restaurant across the road on the corner is great. Try the seafood claypot!! Rooms are compact but sufficient. Breakfast lovely in gorgeous room. Would definitely recommend.

It's very comfortable hotel, however, the breakfast is too simple for the price.

The accommodations were superb, a sophisticated and interesting building. We particularly liked the basement breakfast area -- which opened onto a walled courtyard. The service was responsive and helpful. The staff was able to communicate in several languages and effective in working through our logistical challenges.
