Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel

Had a very pleasant stay here. The staff was wonderful, and always available to chat, recommend restaurants, or give directions. Very much a friendly B&B off the beaten path, but close to many things. Short walk from the subway station. I would return in a heartbeat.

Very helpful staff and friendly as well. I don't think they could be any better. It is small but nice, the breakfasts were fine and they served us even when we were late. We found the area was pretty convenient, close to a main street for transportation. We would definately stay there again and recommend it.

This is a nice little boutique hotel in a good area close to Line 1 metro. The staff are very friendly and helpful and reception staff speak good English. There are nice communal areas inside and out to sit and relax. There are tea and coffee making facilities there. The bedrooms are on the small side but adequate. Everything is very clean and neat, with nice design touches. The one downside was the room on our first night in the semi-basement (US$120). It was very small and dark and the traffic noise at night was bad as it was at the front, although the hotel is on a side street. We were able to change to a better room for the next 5 nights (at US$145).

Great neighborhood...easy to walk to metro, major shopping and park. Hotel staff couldn't be nicer, very helpful in everything from helping with bags, to calling taxis, to suggesting restaurants. If ever in Santiago, stay here...you'll be glad you did.

Good place to stay ,close to metro. Staff very helpful the breakfast lady went out of her way to find gluten free rice cakes for me. Our room was very small but the hotel had nice garden and sitting room to relax in. Suggest to try and avoid room 7 as it opened on to the street and was noisy inthe early evening and morning . Also being under reception you could hear people walking around above . The hotel was exceptionally clean , the cleaning ladies packed and re zipped up our bags every day ! A little beyond the call of duty we thought !

I landed in Santiago with a lost baggage. The people in the front desk were extremely kind, and helpful (I thank them all!!). They helped me find basic necessities and contacted the air line (Iberia) looking for my lost baggage. and definitely come back!

Clean and well located, but the lower rooms are a little noisy. Good breakfast and service.

About myself: I've travelled frequently on business for many years in a variety of hotels (typically 3* through to 5*). This, however, is my first trip purely for leisure and I'm travelling solo. The hotel: I arrived late to the Meriadano after a trip from Easter Island. The staff were helpful and courteous during my whole stay. The wifi reception was excellent in my room, the lobby and the breakfast room. The room itself was small but more than adequate (I booked a single room). The bathroom had a proper shower with excellent water pressure and constant hot water (I showered both in the evening and morning). The breakfast was varied and good quality. The decor throughout the hotel and the room itself was modern and lovely. Would I recommend it: Definitely.

Really cool place to stay. Not quite easy walking distance from downtown, but the neighborhood is safe. Hotel is clean, and the staff are really helpful. Breakfast is only cereal and toast etc, but plenty of variety.
