Super nice staff willing to help all the time. the place is clean and quiet.

A great location and wonderful breakfast !! Only issue is stairs only which my family and I had big bags but that’s what comes with a BnB. But place is lovely kept and got a great night sleep

First-rate, Brilliant location and charming views over bay.

My stay at the Rusheen Bay House was pleasing. It's near Salthill (a few miles) which has plenty of restaurants, casinos, walking areas and also close to the center of Galway (about a 10-15 min drive). The room itself is comfortable with daily cleaning service. Breakfast was available every morning, although I did not partake in the hot breakfast. I had zero issues with parking, but some people may be bothered by the proximity to the busy road in front of the house and the road noise that is constant. However, I got used to it within a day. Parking downtown can be expensive in the garages if you are there for more than a few hrs but there's a ton to do with shopping, food, tours etc. Salthill runs along the Wild Atlantic Way and gives you miles of walking, which is what the locals do constantly. Galway is a great community, albeit busy, but a great area to explore stay while exploring beyond the city.

I have stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years and have been remiss to add my commentary here. This B&B is located at the end of Lower Salthill with great views of Rusheen Bay. Smaller accommodations in most rooms but all are comfortable and there have been some nice upgrades recently. Wonderful location and can be used as a base to tour numerous sights locally (Galway City, Connemara, Clifden, Mayo, Cliffs of Moher, Burren, Kinvara, Kylemore Abbey, Croagh Patrick, Aran Islands). Breakfast is absolutely outstanding (the full Irish) but they will cook anything you request. Owner and staff are pleasant and will do anything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended.

They were fully booked even though I have booked almost one month before, and we had to be relocated to another accommodation, that was comfortable but had no one in the morning to serve breakfast or take the payment. So we decided to make the payment at Rusheen Bay, once we wanted to do it in a different card from the one saved on the web, and the lady said it was okay, she would tell the other accommodation (that belongs to her son apparently). Happens that they charged me again in my account and it's been 2 weeks and nobody solved my problem yet.

We wanted a small place to stay for a couple nights in the Galway area, and this place fit the bill. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was good and the view even from our room was good. There are restaurants close by, and even a grocery store in walking distance.

Charming B&B with a great view just outside Galway - Anne was a lovely host, the room was cosy and comfortable, my only complaint if you could call it that, would be the shower could do with a shelf for your own toiletries (the single room, the bigger rooms may have these?). Great base to explore the area and an easy 15 min drive into Galway city - cute kitty too :)
