"Just what we wanted for the night"

8.0

we just needed a good night stay while on our journey and this is exactly what we got. Quiet location. Nice room a little on the small side but we were only there for one night. Very pleasant dining room with a good breakfast.

"Beautiful B&B just outside of Galway"

10.0

This fabulous family-run B&B was absolutely beautiful and the owners treated us like family. Our room had a stunning view of the Atlantic and we were no more than a 10 minutedrive from Galway City Center. We would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone traveling to the Galway area.

"OK, needs an update."

6.0

We had a short stay (one night) and really only used it for sleeping as we had to check out early in the morning and arrived in the evening. Rusheen Bay was OK, nothing great. There wasn't much else in town at the time we booked so we just chose it at random really. It was quite highly priced for what you get, but I guess the weekend before St Patricks Day was always going to be expensive. The place is badly in need of a revamp - very dated. Our room was quite noisy, right next to a loud water boiler. It was also very hot with no control over the heating so we had to sleep with the window open, even more noise. And we were woken up twice in the night by other guests coming back (doors very thin). But the lady who runs it was friendly and the room very clean (apart from a few things left behind from the last guests that hadn't been removed). Wifi worked well and there was off-street parking. We didn't have breakfast so can't rate that.

"Guest house in good location."

8.0

Stayed two nights. Room not overlarge but clean and comfortable and good front view of coast. Hospitable welcome from proprietor with useful tips of local eating and activities. Little on expensive side considering breakfast was an additional charge to room rate.

"Family room not big enough for four"

6.0

The family room we reserved was far too small for the four of us. We rented an extra room so the landlady gave us complimentary breakfasts for both nights for the four of us.

"Wonderful place to stay!"

10.0

This was the first place we stayed on our travels around Ireland and it was lovely! The views were beautiful and there is a few nice places to walk to. It is best to have a car to get to Galway just as a note. Anne was so helpful and kind always checking up on us to make sure we were all set with everything! The room was comfortable and truly a great place to stay!

"Very Relaxing"

10.0

We stayed for two days to start our tour of Ireland. This B&B was far enough to avoid crowds and was very relaxing. The views from the balcony were good. Each room and service was great. Breakfast for each table was custom ordered, hot and delicious. The one short coming is it is a little far from where the promenade stars and a car is necessary to get to Salthill or Galway.
