Fast check in, friendly staff, beitiful new remodeled room

Small room, but I wouldn't expect anything more in the Cinque Terre area. Very friendly staff. We arrived a couple of hours before check in and they let us leave our bags in the lobby while we had lunch and explore Riomaggiore.

Riomaggiore is, I think, the best place to stay on the Cinque Terre. You are away from the throngs at Monterosso and easily accessible from La Spezia. The rooms, however, are above the night bar. This is OK if it's a quiet night, but they kick on past 12 if people are still there. So if you want a quiet night this is not the place to stay.

Fantastic location, easy to find hotel above a bar just up from the station. Room was clean but bathroom door would not stay shut. Disappointed as this was mentioned in previous reviews. Our room was directly over the bar so very noisy at night, you could stut out some of the noise by closing the doors to the balcony and using the air conditioner but we quite liked the noise it somehow added to the ambience. The balcony was tiny and basically too hot to sit out as it housed the air conditioner unit which blew hot air at you which was a shame. Bed was very comfortable but basically two singles put together on a king sized frame which seemed a bit unnecessary but not really too much of a problem. Sheets and towels changed daily. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I loved the hotel staff... everyone was nice and gave great hospitality... EXCEPT for the cleaning ladies.

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is excellent. If you have mobility problems this isn’t the hotel for you, lots of stairs. Located close to the marina. Air conditioning worked very well!

Really fun place to stay, the building is 600 years old.

The hotel was near the train station and at the center of town. The bed was comfy. Will be back. Nice folks. A bit strict on the 11 am checkout, but you can leave your bag if you want to go around town. Closer to a 2.5 star hotel, compared to the 1 star it was rated for.

The room was nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. Very easy access from the Riomaggiore train station, and located right on the main street in town. It is located above a bar, and one night the music was a little loud, but with the AC on and the windows closed, it wasn't much of a problem.
