Carema Garden Village

My wife and I came for a short trip (4 days). We booked at Carema because they had apartments available (so we could save a little money by cooking ourselves) and we got a great deal. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel, the staff was very pleasant and had great advice for the best things to do while we were there. The hotel is very nice, has multiple pools and is kept very nicely. The only drawback to the apartment was that the "kitchen" area was small and didn't really allow much cooking to be done. Apart from that, we had an excellent stay and we would recommend the hotel.

Not much to do if you are staying long, however lovely views and place to relax. Bar staff were rude, rolled their eyes every time we asked for a drink or ice lolly but rest of staff were very helpful. Really enjoyed the stay and so close to beach!

lovely apartments, mine looked out over the sea which was beautiful, the friends i went with had ground floor rooms which were also very nice. It was quiet when we went which was nice. i would imagine it would get really busy in high season

We had booked a 2 bed apartment for just one night at the end of our holiday, but upon checking in we were told there was a technical problem with the room and we were moved to a one-bed apt. We have 3 children so this was far from ideal for us. The room was like a sauna with only one tiny fan to keep us cool ( luckily they had an extra fan when I asked for one). If I was staying for a week I'd be tearing my hair out....the rooms absolutely need air conditioning. Aside from that the facilities were great - they have a new water park free for guests which was great - the kids loved it. We didn't eat there but had a drink late evening - unfortunately we were at the bar just before 10pm which was chaos as the all-inclusive folks were scrambling for their drinks before their all-inclusive allowance ran out. In short, we'd return for the waterpark but would definitely not sleep there again.

2 bedroom apartment was very small for 2 adults and 3 children. Apartment wasn't air conditioned but electric fans were provided although these did little to cool the apartment. The quieter pool was great and not too busy, with the beach only a few minutes walk. Supermarket was near which provided all the day to day essentials, for those who don't want to cook in the apartment, there are several nice restaurants within easy walking distance. Would I stay there again, the answer would probably be no due to lack of air conditioning and size of apartment.
