Triglav Bled

Stay would have been perfect if not for a score of mosquitoes in our room which led to a rough night. Otherwise excellent location and great staff. Best breakfast I've had in years! Wish I had stayed longer.

This is charming old hotel with an incredible location, sauna, and fantastic breakfast.

Bled was a convenient stop on our road trip to Italy; I choose Hotel Triglav Bled for its proximity to the lake and for the nice onsite restaurant. I was disappointed. All sites advertise this hotel emphasizing the restaurant and the location. False information! The location is serene and quiet, which is a plus, but most other hotels in this price range are right on the lake. Steep walk to get to the lake from this hotel. The location did not bother me, but it should be noted that it is different than you might think per site info, web search and reviews. My bad rating is based on the poor service we received. We arrived at 7 pm and I planned on having a nice dinner. I was told that the restaurant was fully booked and could not accommodate us (party of 2). We never received any information that advance booking was necessary. We were not offered even a drink, an appetizer nor a recommendation to other nearby restaurants. The refusal was blunt and unreasonable. There were no smiles, no information on the area, no options. Service was basically nonexistent. After walking around the lake and seeing numerous great dining options, nice restaurants, nice hotels right on the lake I regretted booking this hotel. Triglav Bled was a frustrating experience for over 600 USD/night. Not a 4 start by any means. Not up to US standards. Not friendly, not welcoming, not reasonable.

A tree blocked my view of the island. The hotel has allowed a few trees to grow so large and tall that the block some rooms’ views of the island. While I could see some of the lake, that one thing that makes lake bled so special - the island - was completely blocked. I can to this hotel and paid a premium price for one reason. To sit on a balcony and enjoy a view of the island in the lake. Instead, I had a view of a tree

What an excellent hotel in an absolutely beautiful location. Very lovely staff, great breakfast, very clean, quiet location but walkable to Bled town (if you can walk uphill otherwise taxis and tourist train available). Worth paying extra for Lake view. Will certainly be going back.

We just finished an amazing 3 night stay at hotel Triglav. We were in a 3rd floor room with a balcony that had spectacular views of the lake and also the mountains. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Definitely sign up for the wine tasting- it was only euro 35 for a 2 hour session and Daniel was amazing! Don’t underestimate the steepness of the hill to get up to the property from the lake- we walked from the bus station all the way there with all our bags- fortunately we are in shape and just barely made it. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful location and lovely staff

This has to be the best or one of the very best hotels we ever have stayed at. Great place! Very convenient for visiting Lake Bled. Very professional staff and wonderful room with a balcony with a view of the island and church. The dining here is absolutely incredible. Highly recommended 😁!

Outstanding view, staff, accommodations and amenities. The restaurant breakfast surpassed expectations. Highly recommend!

The view over Lake Bled is stunning, both from a room with a balcony and from the restaurant. The breakfast menu is hugely varied and probably the best hotel breakfast selection I have experienced. The large indoor swimming pool is also a treat. Staff are very welcoming.
