I love coming here again and again, my "home away from home". I got my room facing the mountains, and enjoyed the view, seating on the veranda, just listening to the fountain in the garden. Peace and quiet - nothing beats it. The Schmidt family make this hotel the best place to stay. And the staff, probably best of the pick, are very helpful, and do their utmost to help and make you feel at home. Oh, and a word about the new SPA - extraordinary, not to be missed.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The location is excellent, close to the lake, beautiful hiking trails, and not far from the Grand Canyon of Switzerland, making it a perfect base for outdoor activities. Breakfast was good and satisfying, though not particularly exceptional.

The only downside was that the room felt warm at night, and since we couldn’t open the window due to mosquitoes, it was slightly uncomfortable.
