Hotel San Marco

The friendly staff , the fabulous location , wonderful view from very comfortable room . Lovely breakfast. Bar food excellent. Great place to watch the world and the boats going by.

We liked everything! Would have loved a balcony but was a late booking.

I would have given this hotel a 5 star, but there were a few issues about it. First the good: the location was perfect, right in front of the port and in the middle of everything. The room was spacious, with a big bed and a good size bathroom. We also had a terrace facing the water, which was superb. The hotel has an elevator which is a big plus in Europe. There is also a nice restaurant on the main floor.

On the less positive side, there was no refrigerator in the room which is a problem when it's so hot outside. Also, no drinking water was provided, so we had to come down on the main floor and carry water upstairs with a cup a few times a day. Also, during our 4-day stay we only received two minuscule pieces of soap and two small shampoos.

Extrem zentrale Lage Blick auf Hafen und See vom Zimmer aus Hotel liegt direkt im Hafen Großes Zimmer Frühstück bis 10.00 Uhr an den Tischen im Außenbereich mit See und Hafenblick Kein Teppichboden im Zimmer Hier ist Göthe auf seiner Italienreise abgestiegen.

Dass leider kein Parkplatz dabei ist. Öffentliche Parkplätze in der Nähe aber leider recht teuer.. nicht konventioniert.
