Hotel Sassi

Vi bodde i sviten som var väldigt härlig och rymlig (åtminstone vardagsrummet) och som hade två magiska dubbeldörrar med fransk balkong. Vilken fantastisk utsikt vi hade över Matera! Rummet hade också en terass. Väldigt trevlig personal på hotellet. Bra och lugnt läge, men ändå nära till allt.

Great value for money, excellent breakfast included, beautiful terraces, gorgeous views over Sassi Barisano, very centrally located just below Piazza San Giovanni; help with moving heavy luggage was no problem. Staying in the Sassi was a humbling and glorious experience, not to be missed.

Canapé-lit peu confortable. Petit-déjeuner assez décevant (charcuterie banale, aucun jus de fruits pressés...).

Even if you get lost in Matera, and you will, the hotel sassy is in the center of everything and you will eventually find it. And when you do, you’ll feel at home.

This is not a new hotel. Thank goodness. It’s got character. Maybe a few rough edges. Nothing to be too concerned about. You’ll go up and down. You might sit on a plastic chair. But the beds are comfortable. The views are to die for. And the people are stupendous. They were kind, helpful, excellent restaurant recommendations. The owner actually smiles and shakes your hand. Book it.

Lokalizacja perfekcyjna! Z tarasu przecudowny widok na katedrę i miasto wykute w skale. Gdybym miała jeszcze raz przyjechać do Matery, wybrałabym ten hotel ponownie. Śniadanie typowe dla Włoch, skromne, ale każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Były świeże owoce, jajka, wędliny, sery i oczywiście całe mnóstwo słodkich wypieków. Pyszna kawa, prawdziwie włoska. Nasz pokój bardzo przestronny, z antresolą, jest klimatyzacja, lodówka z płatnymi napojami. Czyste ręczniki i pościel. Obsługa przemiła. Bez problemu można zostawić bagaż bezpłatnie. Zameldowanie jest od 14, ale pokój dostaliśmy prawie 2 godziny wcześniej, bez dodatkowych opłat, za co jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni.
