"Don’t stay here!"

Pictures were on the web site were good

I had stayed here a few years ago, but the property has really deteriorated since then. Planters had dead plants, carpet was really worn out. Shared kitchen was really rough. Overall the place felt dirty. We looked at the room and decided not to stay and left. Clerk required us to pay the full amount, but my booking said I could cancel for a partial payment. Bookings needs to reimburse me

The property is great and loved the grounds.

The breakfast was disappointing as should have protein available for the cost. Also offering shuttle service would be appreciated

"Live like James Bond in Chateau des Arpentis"

The magic begins the second you pull up the driveway and see the chateau. The host was welcoming and formal. Words can't explain how immersive the old school luxury is in this place. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was perfect in a beautiful setting. We utilized the common lounge area to play cards, what an amazing setting. The pool was not open because it wasn't summer but looks amazing.

"Amazing location, service to be improved"

The castle and the pool are amazing, and the surroundings are beautifully maintained and very peaceful. The complimentary coffee and water were very much appreciated.

-The service was not at the level one would expect from this type of venue. Even requesting a simple clean towel led to an unnecessary argument with the manager. - Some appliances and electrical outlets were old and not functioning properly. - The breakfast was good, but it should not be described as “continental.” It was more of a French-style breakfast, focused on sweet items rather than savory options. - The pool itself is nice, but it was supposed to be heated and unfortunately it was not. If this happens, guests should be informed in advance rather than discovering it upon arrival. - There are many stuffed animals displayed on the walls, which I personally did not like, but that is simply a matter of taste.
