Chateau des Arpentis

The chateaux was very beautiful set in lovely grounds. Great communal areas including sitting room, and self catering facilities. Whilst no evening meal picnicking in the grounds is allowed and eating our own food overlooking the chateaux and lake made us feel at home. The grounds and communal areas are so big that there’s plenty of space for everyone. The host was very friendly. Parking was very good.

Would have liked a kettle in the room although there were facilities and free coffee making in the kitchen,

Just little bit overpriced, 250 EUR per night without breakfast

There is nothing like staying in a real château. We were in one of the towers. They had redone it so that you could literally see the beams supporting the tower. It was very cool. I absolutely loved reading in the salon.
