charming host, beautiful location, simple and clean rooms

Property is nice but no AC at all and same breakfast daily. No housekeeping well performed although i booked it for 3 nights. I had to request them to clean the room's floor on 2nd day when it was too messy.

The place was very small, and bed was very small. Did not line up with the listing. Hotel tried overcharging me once i was on site.

I don't recommend the hotel for families.The location is good. The staff are helpful.There is small bar on the hotel. There is parking for the cars behind the hotel.

Comfortable, nice service and good breakfast. Also the location was pretty good. About 15 minutes from train station. About 20 minutes from the Gorge. It would have been good if the room had another mirror outside the bathroom (-;

Room amenities were rather sparse, wi-fi was poor (though I understand that proprietor is upgrading system in 2018), BUT you can't beat the value. Restaurant (including complimentary breakfast) was superb, and location couldn't be any better if you want to be in the center of nightlife activity.

Hotel style from the 70th and did not have any renovations since than. Pictures in hallway from 70th. Shower did not work and it was told to service personal they just shrugged in disbelief. Room number was #3, can easily be checked because I am quite confident shower still does not work at all. Breakfast included did not provide any serving utensils, so for a breakfast buffet it was quite unsanitary, to say the least. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody else and actually it is quite sad that Orbitz carries it amongst their list. Very disappointed at Orbitz.

After reading other reviews, we were a bit reluctant to book. We read about the loud church bells and not-so-friendly welcome. I'm so glad we decided to "work around" those two things, because our stay was wonderful. We got used to the bells and discovered that 99% of the staff was great--- especially Sobe who was there every morning/day. The room was very clean and the price was unbeatable. We really enjoyed the traditional attached restaurant and plentiful and fresh free breakfasts. We extended our stay and will be back, hopefully. Thank you!

Stayed for just one night recently. The outside of the hotel is very cute and traditional German style. Also the restaraunt was great. But they seemed to forget about the bedrooms...( ours anyway) it was missing that style, everything was white and bland-walls, bed covering, dont think there was even a picture on the wall. TV was TINY and in the wrong place to even see it from the beds. WIFI did not work the entire time we were there. So, with no WIFI and no TV it would have been boring for longer than one night. And there was only ONE shower for the entire floor, (two toilet rooms available). Definitely a no-frills place. But location was great, lots of restaraunts etc right on the same street.
