Lovely stay at Parker Cottage, comfortable, clean, great location, super team and a delicious breakfast

The attention to detail, the hands on and friendly staff, the history of the guesthouse, the delicious breakfasts! Parker Cottage Guesthouse is the place to stay in Cape Town where one feels extremely safe.

I loved everything!

The Parker Cottage Guesthouse is located in a rather calm region of Cape Town. In contrast to the center of Cape Town with heavy trafic and lot of tourists, our place was really quite. Although there were certain safety measures in place, e.g., iron grid on entry doors during nights, we felt safe and slept with partially open windows in our room located on the ground floor. The room was nicely cleaned every day, bathroom with shower was functional, there was fridge for all guests and TV in the common area. Our breakfast was included, and It was a pleasure to have freshly cooked omlets with various stuffings in a small garden adjacent to the house. Service was perfect, and every minor request ( e.g. hot coffie only after main dish) was properly addressed. We think that the price for our stay in Cape Town was reasonable, and it is not surprising that during our visit the Gusthouse was fully booked, mostly with Germans and Ameriicans. Due to our night time deparure, the Guesthouse manager organized comfortable transportation to the airport for our early flight. We highly recommend this place.

The breakfast was exceptional, very tasty and fulfilling. The tables were in the garden with nice views. The stuff was working fast and efficient with always welcoming attitude. The location of the property was ideal for us, it was not far from the city center but in the quiet neighborhood. It is close to the main attractions: Table mountain, Kirstenbosch botanical garden and Camps bay, which were cheapy reached by Uber. The weather was also perfect at the end of March: warm but not hot. They have arranged reliable coach airport transfer at 4:30 a.m. with nice helpful driver.

I don't have any real problems to report, may be some inconvenience of having always to carry quite a few different keys to different property doors during the day out.

I went with my baby girl, we stayed in the Peterson room. We were helped from our car to the room. Beautiful decor. Warmly welcomed. A smile at every glance. Have a baby and going out is not easy and someone tiring and worry some for noise they might make. We we felt comfortable and we would definitely go again. The food was excellent. All around best experience. Wow

Wir wunden sehr herzlich empfangen und das wichtigste wurde uns in Kürze erklärt. Sehr authentisch und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Am Morgen konnte man wie im Hotel auf einer Speisekarte seine Frühstückswünsche angeben. Es wurde alles frisch zubereitet in der Küche.
