"A gem of a property that we would return to."

A gem of a heritage property. Great location close to decent . Tasteful decor reflecting the heritage of South Africa. Beds very comfy and gorgeous bed linen. The staff especially Tomas were wonderful and so helpful. And lastly the breakfasts were amazing.

"Ten plus experience"

Hotel has an excellent location. The location makes it easy to get around Cape Town. The place feels super cozy and welcoming, with rooms that are stylish but still homey. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel right at ease. Breakfast is delicious. We’d happily come back to again.

"Character guesthouse"

I enjoyed my stay, Bartwell / guest support was fantastic. Breakfast was great. The guesthouse has a lot of character and a beautiful outdoor area. I appreciated the filtered tap water.

I had a lot of luggage so the room was very small for the price paid.
