Cape Standard Guest House

The amazing staff makes you feel at home right away. We received a lot of recommendations from Tino, who is the most amazing and friendly host!! We had some amazing chats with David, the owner of the guest house as well! The room itself is big and has everything you need, including a large and comfortable bed. The location is central and safe. We loved the breakfast!

A small improvement could be made in making the room just a little darker for the nights, but everything else was absolutely perfect!!

The pool was not heated

There are no blinding curtains in the room. Downside of the central location is the buzz from the city.

Our host, Tino, is adorable and lovely person and for sure he makes the place even more special. Definitely you won’t find a better host!!! Tino is always ready to help and proposing the best options about the city. The accommodations as well are nice, well located and quiet! Do not hesitate! Go there and make Tino as your best friend in Cape Town!

The host is really nice. He helped us with all our questions regarding the city, gave us nice restaurant recommendations and even reserved a table at the restaurants for us. He prepared a lovely breakfast for us in a cosy private room. The room itself is modern and clean. Additionally, we had to leave on a guided tour early in the morning, and breakfast was prepared for us. They left it in the fridge which was perfect to eat it at a time that was convenient to us.

I have a single remark and that is that the walls were a bit thin between our room and the room next to ours. We could perfectly hear the conversations of the guests next door.
