We loved that the guesthouse was cozy and small. All the greenery. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was amazing the manager, Tino, was adorable and incredibly attentive.

The pool was not heated, and there were no fully blackout blinds.

Tino was so helpful with things to do and places to go during our stay. The room and pool were lovely, the breakfast was fantastic and the location is great - 10/10!

Cape Standard guest house is a lovely property. The room had cooking facilites, which we did not use, was equiped with all the essentials. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of hanging and storage space. The bathroom was good with a big walk in shower. The outside had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. We had a marvelous breakfast, eaten outside, with cold and cooked options. Tino and his team were fantastic and were on hand at all times and they really made you feel welcome.

Meals were eaten outside and to access the area you had to go out of your bedroom and down stairs, which were not covered. Great when its sunny, not so good when it rains. Lack of restaurants nearby so car or taxi required.

The Host and the Stuff is awesome!
