HillsNek Safari Camp – Amakhala Game Reserve

Es fehlten uns fast die Worte - das war die außergewöhnlichste Unterkunft, die wir je hatten. Eine zauberhafte Lodge mit sehr nettem Personal, das extrem um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht ist, dabei aber locker und nett! Essen der Wahnsinn, alles mit so viel Liebe gemacht. In der ersten Nacht waren wir ganz alleinen in der Lodge, in der zweiten war eine zweite Familie da. Es ist sehr familiär und individuell und man kann neben dem tollen Safari-Erlebnis einfach entspannen. Das Highlight waren zwei Besuche von Elefanten am Pool genau zur richtigen Zeit. Unser Guide Ebin war ebenfalls toll - sehr aufmerksam, unheimlich viel Wissen, wir haben fast alle Tiere gesehen, die wir uns gewünscht hatten! Unvergesslich die Löwen, die plötzlich vor uns nach ihrer Jagd lagen und fraßen. Tolle Lodge, die wir wirklich weiterempfehlen können!

Absolutely everything, the food exceptional and so much of it, the lodge was out of this world. The staff are amazing. A bit shout out for our guide Nicky she was so knowledgable and knew where to find the animals so we’re a bit more challenging but Nicky found them for us. We will never forget this holiday everything was 5*

Honestly the staff made this the best experience. So professional and accommodating right from pre-arrival. They were flexible to needs, happy to rearrange time tables and drives. Safari guides were brilliant and knowledgeable. Met some other guests who had the exact same experiences as us so credit the staff. Food was incredible, wasn't expecting to have such a selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks and good coffee all day. They were able to accommodate my mother who has food requirements. Highly recommend from a couple in our 30s and my parents who are approaching 80s,hope this review helps those who are considering.

No cons, all good, only variables is the weather which thankfully didn't affect us.

This place blew our minds. The main lodge and the tents were unbelievably beautiful. Renzo and all the staff were so warm and helpful. All the food very delicious. There were so many small attentions to detail. Safari drives were great! Only booked for 2 nights but wish we’d have booked for more !
