Can't say enough nice things about the Leopolis. It is beautiful, perfectly located a block from the main square, and the service is above and beyond what you can find in most 5 star hotels these days. Had a lovely room with every amenity. There is a spa on site. A full buffet breakfast was included and their restaurant, On Shevska, is great (terrace seating available). The best part was the staff and service. They could not do enough. Arranged transfer and two tours with a private tour guide (Oksana) who was wonderful and spoke perfect English. I would recommend the 3 hour private city tour with her, and she can also create customized tours out of the city. When the train service we were relying on to get us to Budapest was canceled, Natalie at the front desk offered to search for options. She found $149 tickets on Ukrainian Airlines, and asked for our passport and credit card to book the trip for us. Could not have asked for more. Lviv is beautiful and Hotel Leopolis is the best place to stay. What a treat.
