Some of the reviews for this hotel are perhaps too enthusiastic. This small property is located in a small but undistinguished town (Pisa) about 10 to 15 minutes by car to Ancient Olympia. It is quiet and has nice views of a valley behind it and a great pool for relaxing. The service was prompt and welcoming but the food was mediocre. The rooms are small, quite ordinary and need to be refreshed. It looked like there are probably better hotels in the town near Ancient Olympia. Overall it was a good value and certainly acceptable.

Easy checking. Glorious sunset view. Enjoyed the Bacchus salad and Max the dog. Worth the small distance up from Olympia.

The Bacchus pension taverna was a very plaisant surprise. The personal was very friendly. The pool with a fantastic view was very relaxing and the food was very good authentic and reasonably priced. I would higlhly recommend this place.

Great place! The room was nice and it's located in a small town with very little tourists. The restaurant is excellent and the staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place!! Clean, beautifully decorated rooms food to die for, with amazing views from the terrace. Only 5 minutes away from the historical sites. 5 stars to this hotel.

Be sure to get a room facing the back of the hotel overlooking the pretty valley. It is really hard to find this hotel from Olympia, but once you get out of the Olympia, watch for the hotel signs. The hotel is in a traditional small town which is not touristy. There is a hiking trail that goes down to a spring in the valley. Be sure to eat in the dining room at the hotel - excellent food, especially the lamb in spring.
