Excellent service, breakfast was amazing. The place is half renovated so feels partially outdated though. Location not great - on the main road (not at all noisy), but nothing within walking distance.

住了3晚，虽然走廊装修了，房间内部很旧，毛巾旧，没水杯，房间连垃圾桶都没有，只有厕所有个小小的垃圾桶。要求后倒是送来一个临时的， 厕所地垫很滑，差点滑倒。，山景房，被窗外的大树挡住，看不到啥风景，灯光 安排不合理，该亮的地方不亮。无电梯，窗户隐私不好，窗口正对对面的走廊。窗外马路有点吵，地点不是很好找。不值这个价格。 好的一点是有投币洗衣机。 Not worth the money. not recommended.

Margaret was the perfect host.

We had the best 3-night stay at Auwirt. Margaret is a wonderful hostess! She greets her guests by name and makes sure that you love your stay, both in the ease and comfort of their small hotel. Auwirt is a nice quiet place with a great cold breakfast spread, including fresh smoothies, We enjoyed the Biergarten with Austrian fare. Margaret is also very helpful when planning variety of fun local excursions, most being within 20 min. We made two trips to Bertchesgaden and Königssee because we enjoyed the lake so much. We also went to the Eagle’s Nest (go early if you hope to get parking. Otherwise take the public bus up to the starting point.) Again, thank you for your attentive hospitality, Auwirt staff. We hope to visit again in the future!

Very gracious hosts and fun decor made this a great stay. Excellent breakfast, too. Close to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden National Park.

The service and friendly staff at Auwirt are outstanding! They made us feel right at home. The location is great, with access to Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, and lots of other places. We had breakfast at the hotel. It was fresh and there were so many good options that it was difficult to choose! Over all, we will stay here again when we come back to this area.

The hotel is a fantastic home base for exploring the outdoors opportunities in the region. This is a family-owned establishment that provides a very gemütlich experience at a very reasonable price. I found the breakfast to be quite tasty and traditional for the region, and enjoyed eating at the restaurant for dinner during my stay. The nearby town has plenty of amenities and access to the autobahn is only 10 minutes away.

Margaret was exceptional and anticipated our needs without us asking. She made our stay very comfortable and would highly recommend a stay there if your plans include a visit to Salzburg and berchtesgaden.

GREAT Austrian guest house. Wonderful owners, GREAT breakfast, parking right out front with great sound proofing windows... VERY NICE, would stay here again.... Dan

Reception was fine, but the Overall ambience was not equal to some of the other similarly priced accomodations in the Salzburg Region.
