Piccolo Hotel Del Lido

A brilliant little hotel in a perfect location, absolute gem of a find.

A small hotel right on the beach. Rooms overlooking the sea and a bonus is the private sun terrace that each room has. Walking distance to the centre of Lerici and parking is offered which is scarce in Lerici. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast that you can take outside or inside. Good daily cleaning.

The property and location were excellent! You can’t get much better. The beach is so close. Great stroll to town each night for dinner. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great . The only concern is that its time to upgrade the beds .. very uncomfortable

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for two nights after our wedding in the beautiful Lerici. The staff, especially the manager Sandy, are all so warm and friendly and the property is gorgeous. Really well maintained, bright and comfortable. Each bedroom has a lovely private roof terrace with sun loungers. We enjoyed relaxing there and enjoying the view of Lerici. When we wished we could walk straight onto the beach from there. On arrival there was a bottle of prosecco in our room to congratulate us. The breakfast is excellent. The day we were checking out we had to leave early and the hotel packed our breakfast for us for our train journey. A lovely touch. We hope to return to Lerici for our anniversary and plan to stay in the Piccolo Lido!

We had a very enjoyable two-night stay in Lerici. In fact, we wanted to stay a third night and had enquired months in advance, but the hotel gets booked out very fast because of its size. This hotel has many advantages, principal of which is it location - right on the sand. It is also beautifully designed around a central circular area, where the indoor pool and breakfast room/lounge are located. Our room was large (queen size bed and single bed for our 10-year-old daughter), decorated in a modern spartan fashion, and with giant glass doors and windows overlooking the sea. Breakfast was also perfect; we particularly liked the individual glass bowels of fruit and excellent yoghurt. All of the staff - led by the indomitable Sandy - were warm and helpful. Finally, the hotel has a small car park - located across from the entrance in a chained area - which is a real blessing in Lerici, where the streets are very narrow and parking limited. The town itself is small and picturesque, and not overrun by tourists, unlike some other nearby places. We will definitely return to Piccolo Hotel del Lido.

I was here with my fiancé on a trip to see Cinque Terre and we were SOOOO happy we went. Great location right on the beach. Our room had its own lounging area above it so we didn't need beach chairs on the beach (as noted in other reviews.) Room was wonderful: clean, quiet, spacious, good bathroom. And breakfast was awesome! The owner is /knows a celiac/gluten free person and they had excellent gluten free options. I felt like a food hero here. The front desk was very helpful for any questions we had. I can't recommend this place enough.

We chose the hotel for its great location and weren’t disappointed in any way. If you are looking for a beach front hotel in the area then this is your number one choice. Staff were first class and very attentive with great advice for the local area, thank you. Buffet breakfast was as good as we have ever had and lots of it too. No hesitation in recommending this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
