Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel

We stayed at the Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel in West Bay, Doha, for about 10 days. It’s a small, four-star hotel where we felt very relaxed throughout our stay. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making everything hassle-free. They responded quickly to our requests and ensured we had plenty of water during our stay. Additionally, they assisted us in finding locations and arranging taxis whenever we needed. Special thanks to Mr. Asad, Ms. Fatima, and all the other staff members who were polite, well-educated, and spoke English fluently. Overall, our experience at the hotel was very positive. The bedding and bathroom were clean, and the towels were fresh. However, the floor could have used vacuuming.

I stayed at Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel in Doha from February 24 to February 26, 2025, while attending Web Summit Qatar 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The hotel's location was excellent, just a 5-minute drive from DECC, making it convenient for my daily commute. Additionally, there were grocery shops nearby, which was a plus for quick snacks and essentials. I initially booked a standard room but was pleasantly upgraded to a suite (Room 1609), and the views were absolutely stunning. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep after long conference days. The washroom was large, well-maintained, and stocked with fresh towels, adding to the comfort of the stay. The breakfast was simple but had all the essentials, including a great omelette station that stood out. While not lavish, the variety was enough to start the day well. Check-in was quick and smooth, thanks to Discover Qatar, which made the process hassle-free. The hotel staff were polite and accommodating, ensuring a seamless experience. Overall, Retaj Al Rayyan is a great choice for business travelers looking for a comfortable stay in a prime location. The proximity to DECC, spacious rooms, and great service made my trip enjoyable. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Be careful, possible FRAUD. I’m in the process to raise a complaint with the Tourism authority since this hotel uses fraudulent/ deceptive sales. I booked a room for a long stay, when I arrived they assigned me another kind of room and they told me that was the room I agreed. Lucky I had all the evidence and testimonies.

It was a wonderful stay, staffs were all nice and helpful. The view was breathtaking, our room has this panoramic view of the beach. It was a memorable experience. Will recommend this hotel to my friends. Definitely will come back and stay again.

I love the rooms and friendly staff. There rooms are great with great scenery. Fascinating trip and i enjoyed my stay there.The staff are extremely professional with a homely touch. Most hotels know how to welcome there guest but this was the most memorable💯.

Very friendly staff, close to the beach, good service

The pool is a bit small in length, rooms furniture needs to be changed though. However, we enjoyed our staycation as our room was upgraded without even requesting. I Love the fact that despite the hotel being fully booked, we were still granted free late check out

I’ve stayed at Retaj Al Rayyan hotel multiple times with my family, and each visit has been exceptional. The location is perfect, just a short distance from the Corniche, making it convenient and scenic. The food is outstanding and truly adds to the experience. The staff is incredibly respectful, accommodating, and professional. A special thanks to Mr. Abdul Wahab, whose dedication to guest satisfaction made our stay memorable. I highly recommend Retaj Al Rayyan for anyone seeking excellent hospitality, a great location, and delicious cuisine.
