Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel

Thé Seaview room was definitely wonderful, and very peaceful. The hotel has good bones and is in the midst of remodeling. The pool will offer a splendid view. The staff was so very friendly and the buffet was excellent. I visited during Ramadan, so the city was a bit quieter than usual, I was told. I hired a guide for a city tour one day and then to see the Villagio mall and the desert on another day. The city is looking forward to hosting the World Cup 2022.

Building is old, that is why i believe they have renovation next year. Overall, good experience and relaxing from busy life.

Great location and ok building appearance. Poor to fair house keeping service. Price is excellent for most of the nights.

I like the sea view and the staff by the name of Tim. She makes sure that she explained to me clearly about the facilities and timings of the hotel, she even asked me about my stay when I checked out. She's very welcoming. Thumps up Tim👍. The room was spacious and nice, except for the lights in the bathroom, it's too dark. The flush in WC is very hard to press. The only thing worst that happens is when you want to take shower and there is no COLD water. You have to use hot water in the hair and body while taking shower. and the Engineering told me that this is a long-time problem it never fixed, How can you use hot water in your hair while taking shower? Make sure when you booked this hotel to check first if they have cold water already, otherwise, you will end up using Hot water while taking a shower

Long stop we hotel was more than adequate. The rooms are a little dark and dated, but the sea view definitely made up for it . I’d stay there again .

Staff were lovely, but hotel starting to get tired. Wallpaper peeling in room etc
