... alles super, jedoch muss man wissen, dass man den Platz fürs Frühstück, welches nicht inbegriffen ist, im öffentlichen Restaurant vorreservieren sollte

Great location, well appointed and furnished, spacious room.

The pool is really small and located in the restaurant so not ideal for children to enjoy.

We had "discovered" the hotel when taking a break on Thesen Island on our way to Plettenberg and decided to stay there for a night on the way back. A large old boatshed has been transformed to an architectural gem, and the plants covering the gallery and found all over the place make it extra special. Our room with a King bed was spacious, had a high timber ceiling and was fitted in an elegant maritime style. The open plan bathroom (with a discreetly hidden tub) was perfect and the private terrace offered a beautiful lagoon view. We had an enjoyable late lunch on the terrace of the "Nest", a late drink from the bar and an interesting short chat with the owner. The staff was nice and attentive. We would have loved to stay a bit longer if only our itinerary had been less tight...
