Definately not a three star hotel as advertised. A bus ride, or a long walk is required to reach the city centre. It is lcated on a busy main road with buses passing by constantly. The room and the breakfast were adequate. The only thing going for it was the price and the staff who were helpful and attentive.
The price was cheapest in Tiberias. Decent room for basic accommodation. Marvelous buffet breakfast. Had to work with the lobby computer in Hebrew format but got there in the end. I recommend this place for budget minded travelers.
Just a kilometre or two from the main Tiberius area, for us this was a great stay and great value for money!
The hotel is about 20 min walk from the town centre but only a few minutes by bus. The location is good and the view from the rooms at the front of the hotel is excellent, you can see all of the Sea of Galillee. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms clean and comfortable. The wi-fi works very well and you can get it anywhere in the hotel. If you have a car then the free parking is excellent. This is a great hotel for stopping as part of a tour and the price is fantastic for an Israeli hotel. A family run hotel with 3 generations of family working as the management. I will stay her again on my next trip.
The Hotel was basic but clean, owner was very friendly and helpful. I found it good value for money. Would stay there again if i was ever in Teveriah.
A bit inconvenient for downtown unless you have a car, but perfectly fine if transport is not an issue. Rooms were clean and breakfast was above average. Free wifi as well.
The hotel was pretty good for a 3-star. The hotel management were very hospitable and friendly so made us feel at home. It was great to have a parking space as well as a car is needed in that part of Tiberias. Overall it was a great stay and would recommend it to people.
The hotel is not expensive, furniture was not changed since 1970s, the bathroom was not the best, and in the morning the smell of the oil came into our room from the kitchen...
Breakfast better than you could expect.
Berger Hotel is located in the middle of the city of Tiberias, within leisurely walking distance of center of town. Adjacent to the hotel is a gym, cultural center, library, and stores. It is also near a promenade which has spectacular views of the Sea of Galilee and surrounding mountains. Public bus transportation is available nearby both for inter-city and intra-city travel. Dining room supervised by Suleiman provides fresh, tasty food in ample quantities. Free Wi-fi available in guest rooms. Hotel's rates are very reasonable.
