The location is great, and I really appreciated that this is a family-run business. Next time I’d probably like to book direct with them. The building itself is very cosy, I enjoyed the carpeting and soft lighting and was grateful for the en-suite and call button for staff. I was delighted that a fan was provided in the room, as well as lots of tea and coffee and a very clean kettle as well as a microwave. The gentleman on-call was extremely lovely and friendly, he was attentive and considerate of my needs as a disabled guest. He cleared walkways for my mobility aid and made sure I was settled, wished me good morning and held my bags during the day until I picked them up for my journey home. He offered to call me a taxi as well. I would definitely book again if I end up in Ipswich any time soon!

I found it hard to get into the building with my walker / rollator. The door is narrow-ish and swings shut so trying to lift my mobility aid into the first and then second door was difficult. I can’t remember now if there was a doorbell for assistance but if I see one next time I’d definitely use it. I never felt like I was inconveniencing the lovely gentleman when I pressed the button at the desk, he would offer to get the door for me on my way out — but staff obviously have lots to do so can’t be poised for anyone possibly entering the building, so in that case, an assistance button on the front of the building would be great (again, there might have been one, in which case that’s my fault for not noticing) this is not meant to be a negative review at all.

The whole experience. The proprietor was so welcoming and professional and nothing was too much for him.I thought it was a lovely gesture that a.free breakfast goodie bag was offered and would be. available for. the duration of my stay.. Overall it was very good value and most importantly, would I return in the future..... Yes, definitely I would.♥️
