Would easily recommend to friends and family. Fabulous hotel in a lovely location and very nice staff. Only very minor issue is the WiFi signal was poor (not available in our room or at pool) but this is so minor I didn't mark down for it! Well done.
The hotel is in a quiet area but only approx. 15 minutes walk away from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel and pool area were lovely and clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very similar each day but nicely presented and adequate to set us up for the day. The room was a double room with a sea view and was a reasonable size with a double wardrobe for our clothes and plenty of coat hangers. The balcony was nice to sit out on with lovely views although not private from the other balconies but we did not find this a problem. There was also a little washing line on the balcony which was useful. This was our first time on Santorini and we found it to be a lovely island and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Castro hotel. We found the hotel to be a very relaxing and calming environment (no loud music in the pool area). We have already recommended the hotel to our friends and would definitely stay there again on our return to Santorini.
This hotel is in a peaceful location but only 10 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants & bars. The hotel is very clean & the family who own it are wonderful & make you feel very welcome. Pool area is lovely & quiet. Breakfast is very good, the Greek natural yoghurt is divine. All in all a wonderful stay & hope to visit again in the future for a third time.

We had a wonderful stay at this family run hotel. The owners were extremely helpful, very pleasant and nothing was any trouble. They collected us from the airport which prevented any stress, breakfast was adequate, fresh bread, cake and fruit, cheese, ham, tea and coffee. They loaned us cups so we could have tea and coffee in our rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with beautiful sea views and were cleaned every day. (We also got free access to the safe) The pool area was very quiet and relaxing and exceptionally clean. It was situated close to the beach and the promenade. Although the wifi signal was not very strong, it is free and only a minor issue. We would definitely recommend staying at the Castro hotel.
Very clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms. Air-con in living room and bedroom. Flat panel TV in living room and dual purpose sofa/bed, and separate Wi-Fi in each room. There are two separate buildings to the hotel - we had two rooms in the new side. Balcony overlooking the sea from one room, overlooking the swimming pool from the other. Hotel owners very helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to the sea front.
