RingAvenue Apartments

We loved staying here. Andras was super nice and friendly, gave great advice on where to go and what to do, and the apartment itself was perfect for the price. Great location too, within walking distance of most things, and only a short tram ride from everything else. The flat was clean, with decent cooking facilities (we cooked our breakfast everyday, and dinner a few times). We also got a washing machine, TV with tonnes of channels and a nice shower/bathroom. The living room had a cute little mezzanine too, which the bed was on. Overall a very nice to stay and we couldn't fault it. Andras' advice was invaluable too, and he went well out of his way to make sure we were happy. There were a few choice wines (decently priced too) available to purchase in the apartment, which was awesome.

Andras picked us up at the airport once we arrived. He is very welcoming and knowledgeable. On the way to the apartment he filled us in on places to go, see and what's going on during our stay in the city. He gave us some great advice on getting to the F1 during our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy and very good value for money. It is situated in a great area, just on the edge of the centre but fair enough away to enjoy very good food and drink at budget prices. There's a tram station just across the road and Metro just a hundred yards away or a 10 minute walk gets you the the more expensive tourist areas. Andras was always contactable if we needed any help or a chat. Budapest is a lovely, save city and can't wait to come back, will be staying at one of Andras apartments again. Thank you Andras, it's not often you mean such a nice and accomodating human being.

We were picked up from the airport which was great and given lots of useful advice from the owner about where to go in Budapest and where to avoid etc. The apartment was a great size, plenty of room and nicely presented. The location was excellent, very central with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I would definetley stay again.

The manager of the apartment met me at the airport for the same rate it would have cost to get a taxi and he gave me lots of information about where to go and what to do, he was very knowledgeable. The apartment was clean and well presented and the location was good. It was easy to walk into the city centre and the tram and tube were only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment if one did not feel like walking. Some really good restaurants and bars. STEX was local and very good value for money. Caught a concert with live Orchestra in the Water Tower in Margaret Island, unexpected and very good. Beautiful weather (if you like heat), and lots to do and see. Travelling as a single woman I felt safe walking at night and it was refreshing when approached to be politely asked if I was single and not harrangued as the response was no. All in all a very good time.

If you want a boutique hotel with a chocolate on your pillow every night, then Ring Avenue apartments are not for you. However if you want to stay in a cosy character apartment, in an amazing building and experience a tiny slice of Budapest life then this is for you. From the outside you can't really see much just a big green door between the local bar ( friendly people) and a fast food shop ( good Gyros). Open the door and a corridor takes you down to a fantastic court yard in the middle of the building, that although it was 34 degrees outside is very lush and always cool. After a ride in an old but safe Russian lift , I reached my apartment, all mod cons, dated a little but it is an old building and it adds to the charm, and the bonus that it over looked the court yard and was always cooler than outside even on the hottest nights. Location wise you are a 10 minute walk into old town, 15 minutes to the Central Market. Over the road is the 4-6 tram that takes you to some very cool areas of Budapest, easy walk to the Ruin Pubs. 10 minute walk either side gets you to the Metro. Not want to go into town? Walk up the road and find a host of friendly bars and pubs and good restaurants. I thoroughly recommend taking up Andras's shuttle from the airport as he is full of local knowledge and obviously very passionate about making sure people enjoy their stay in Budapest and stay safe. Couldn't have wished for a better way to explore an amazing city|

The owner Andras is very kind and helpful. He offered me the option of moving to another apartment (Flat Elisabeth) which is cooler in the hot summer. He is right and that apartment is really cozy and tidy. Flat Elisabeth is located in a quiet area. There are lots of cafes just downstairs which offer you a wide selection of food. Andras knows Budapest and the area inside out and he's always happy to offer you tips. He came and picked me up at the bus station on my arrival day (12 Euro) and gave me a ride to the airport (23 Euro) on my day of departure. This is a fair deal, I would say.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at our apartment. It is located in close proximity to the metro station, in a quiet and attractive part of the city. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and shopping facilities close by. A 10 minute walk takes you to the market and main pedestrian street. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and secure. András was very welcoming and provided us with great help and guidance during our stay. He wants to make sure your stay in Budapset and Hungary is a happy one!

Quiet and clean well maintained apartment in courtyard style historical building. Apartment very well equipped in safe neighborhood with supermarkets a McDonald's, bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to centre, 2 minutes walk to metro. Apartment owner Andras super nice without being intrusive, friendly and a gentleman, collected myself from airport and made me a cup of tea on my arrival! As a lone female traveller I felt very safe in this apartment and highly recommend staying here as super value for money.

We stayed in RingAvenue Apartments for 4 nights and had a lovely stay. The apartment was in a great location; near to shops, a tram station (opposite the front door), metro station, pubs and restaurants. As well as these amenities the area felt very safe. Before our holiday András e-mailed a lot of useful information about Budapest and we arranged for him to collect us from the airport, which was efficient and started our break with ease. On the way to the apartment András gave us a tour of the city; highlighting tourist sights, areas of interest and giving us a history of the city. Overall we found the apartment to be well worth the amount we paid and we would wholeheartedly recommend András and his apartments. If we return to Budapest in the future, we will be definitely staying in one!

The apartment was great and in a really good location near trams/metro, whilst also being easily within walking distance of everything. The owner (Andras) was an extremely nice guy. Before we went, he sent lots of information on potential things to do. Then (for 20 euros each way) he picked us up and dropped us at the airport (with a 5am pickup required which he was happy to do!). He also spent a fair amount of time explaining areas on the map and pointing out the good places to go. The apartment was really nice with everything you need (cooker, dishwasher, comfy bed etc). Andras along with the apartment helped make our trip a great one! Would recommend!
