Beautiful country house, lovely and quiet, decor fab

It takes 10 mins for water to warm in our room - this should be explained on arrival, there was a card in the room but we did not see it, which was not a great start as we arrived later than planned and wanted a quick shower before dinner

Everything went well, the staff were superb from the moment we arrived to our departure. We had pre-booked an afternoon tea as a birthday treat, that duly arrived with candles in the cake🎂, lovely surprise. Food and service was good throughout. breakfast basket was ordered prior to an early departure time and that was amazing for its content and delivery night before.
