Safety measures- shower in Rhino room, needs one step- pose danger. Atleast some Pool tables

Enjoying Nature 🌟 The game drive was absolutely amazing so much I learned about 🦁🦓🐗🦒🕷️🐜🪱🐒🦅🦡🐺✨🌝☀️ birds spiders ants lions and soooo much more✨thank you Ross Picnic in the bush veld 😎 This lodge is absolutely next level The staff Piet and Letta 👌🏻 food everything was absolutely perfect 👌 compliments to the Cheff 👌🏻

Wir wurden hervorragend versorgt. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Essen. Stilvoll und sehr schön eingerichtete große Zeltchalets. Qualifizierte Gamedrives und Walks.

Es gibt nur eine Außendusche was in den Wintermonaten unangenehm ist.

The Spa room its too small and the advertised the do it outside when we arrive the no more doing it outside.cold swim pool no big 5 ,had to carry our bags to the car bcs the could not get hold of the guys . Need to change linen dailly

Most of the staff were so lovely, helpful and attentive! The outdoor shower is amazing and has the most consistent water temperature and pressure. Steak and vegetables were always delicious. Waking up to the sound of the lions roaring first thing in the morning. Laying in the sun by the pool with my book was a joy.

Although our booking was for 2 adults and 1 child, the room wasn't set up for that on our arrival - this was only done while we were having dinner. There weren't enough towels for the 3 of us on the first night. The bath tap leaked from the handle after being run. The inside shower was like a brain teaser, after the 2nd night I got it : 20sec perfect temperature, 20 sec scolding, 20sec freezing cold, and repeat - the water did not stay 1 temperature for longer than 30sec at a time. It was my husbands birthday I asked if they could make a chocolate cupcake for dessert for him, they said no problem, when the dinner came there was no cupcake and the duty manager said nothing about it, as if the conversation was never had. Definitely not a child friendly lodge, meals were not aligned, meal times were not aligned and they weren't sure if my 6yr old could do the game drives (in a lodge with no free roaming predators). We got lunch at the restaurant which was burnt, dry and overpriced - when I provided feedback the staff removed these items from our final bill which was kind of them. Pork and lamb main dishes were dry and overcooked. The desserts tasted like instant puddings and the ice cream was frost bitten. The game drives were mostly uneventful with the rangers largely talking about trees as the only animals to be seen were Impala, Nyala, Zebra, Ostrich and the occasional Blue Wildebeest. There were x2 rather mature lions (x1 male and x1 female) but they were in a caged area which seemed smaller than the enclosure at the JHB Zoo - it was quite heart-breaking.
